OXFORD MUSLIM ACCESS CONFERENCE

OMAC 2021 Poster

On behalf of Oxford University Islamic Society

Following the success of our previous conferences, we will again be hosting on the 11th of December at Clifford Chance to all year 11 and 12 Muslims students.

OMAC aims to facilitate access to higher education for students from underrepresented and disadvantaged backgrounds by:

  • Addressing realities and misconceptions surrounding Oxford and life as a Muslim student
  • Providing advice and support on the application process, including entrance exams and personal statements
  • Delivering tailored subject-specific workshops based on the Oxford tutorial system
  • Providing an insight into current student experiences at Oxford and a chance to hear from Oxford alumni
  • And offering advice on scholarships and other forms of financial support

We believe the conference will be of interest to your students, and as such, we would like to request your support in promoting the event and encouraging your students to apply and sharing amongst your organisation and networks.

The application form can be found here

Please note the application deadline is Friday October 8th 11:59 pm.

If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and we look forward to hearing from you soon.

Kind regards,

Jasmin Sultana
