The SHROPSHIRE ISLAMIC FOUNDATION is a registered charity. We receive no funds from the Government and have to rely 100% upon the generosity of our brothers and sisters, Muslim and non-Muslim, for the funds to continue and complete this noble project.
There is a well known hadith (saying of Prophet Muhammed pbuh) narrated by Uthman ibn Affan r.a. that the Prophet of God said;
”Whoever builds a mosque for Allah , then Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise”. Sahih Bukhari.
Donating money for the sake of God is known in Islam as sadiqa jariyah. This is a charity that is everlasting; that is to say that the donor receives the reward for their charity even after their death until the Day of Judgement.
By contributing to the construction of the mosque, every time someone enters it, uses the facilities to prepare for prayer,makes their prayer or comes in the mosque for any righteous cause, God’s blessing is sent down to everyone involved in its building, whether they are dead or alive. This is because of no other reason than the Mercy and Beneficence of Almighty God.

We are grateful for any amount, no matter how small, it all helps. There is another way in which you may be able to help, that is by making Qardan hasana.
Qardan hasana is what is called in the Quran “a goodly loan”. This is a sum of money which is lent to the Trust in order to enable the work to continue. It is usually lent for a minimum of 2 years, after which it can be returned if the donor wishes.
Allah says in the Quran Ch64 v17 , to the nearest meaning,
“If you lend unto Allah qardan hasana, He will multiply it for you and He will forgive you, for Allah is the most Appreciative, the most Forbearing”
