The creation of the first purpose built masjid in Shropshire has been a long process, beginning with the purchase of the former TA Centre in 2005. The work since then has been epic, with many twists and turns, struggles with gaining planning consent, lack of funds, constructions issues. Though it all, the community, volunteers and various trustees have endeavoured to keep the project going. Now, although work will continue on the second, with the grace of God, we are near the completion of first phase, with full usage to meet our current needs. The story of this endeavour will be told in pictures, hence this gallery. Starting with most recent images, it will be updated as further images from the past emerge.
